The China Switch has now officially bid farewell to domestic players, as this console that has been on the domestic market for years has completed its entire official operation cycle.

Following the official termination of all network services for the Tencent China Switch on May 15, the China Switch Tmall official flagship store also officially ceased operations on May 17, marking the complete shutdown of all official online brand presences.

Currently, various online supporting services related to the China Switch are being gradually shut down as planned, and the service window for all online functions is entering its final phase.

The online store sales service for the China Switch had already ceased on March 31 this year. After 10 PM on May 15, the online store further closed all channels for content downloads and redemption code verification, and all other network-related supporting services were also taken offline simultaneously.

The official has specifically reminded all existing China Switch users that in order to ensure the normal operation of purchased game content after the devices are completely disconnected from the network, they must, before all network services are officially and completely shut down, re-download and locally store all digital games, supporting software, and the necessary runtime patches and additional DLC content for physical games under their accounts, to avoid losses caused by the inability to access content normally in offline mode later.

The official announcement of subsequent operational milestones also clearly states that after December 31, 2026, official after-sales repair services for the standard China Switch console, the China Switch OLED console, and all corresponding official peripheral accessories will be fully discontinued. At that time, the entire China Switch series will completely bid farewell to all official support and officially enter the stage of self-maintenance by existing users.

The China Switch was launched in December 2019 and has been in operation for about six and a half years. The most regrettable thing is that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" never passed the review, which has saddened countless domestic players.
